
A fresh wave of controversy has hit Nigeriaโs procurement system following revelations that a single individual allegedly registered five companies within 48 hours and went on to secure inflated Nigerian Police contracts worth โฆ3.4 billion.
According to investigation reports, the firms โ all linked to the same man โ received 366 suspicious payments from police contract accounts. Among the most shocking details was the alleged supply of sardines priced at โฆ8,600 per tin, alongside other everyday goods billed at outrageous costs.
